The Iran-Tajikistan Chamber of Commerce was established on 12 November 2018 in Tehran with the aim of boosting bilateral trade ties.

The founding assembly of the chamber convened with the participation of Deputy President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), ICCIMA Secretary-General, ICCIMA Deputy for International Affairs, Counselor to Tajik Ambassador to Tehran, Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and representatives from the private sector.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy President of ICCIMA referred to the common cultural values between Iran and Tajikistan which prepare the ground for the development of bilateral economic ties.

Referring to the establishment of the Chamber and its advantages, the ICCIMA officials invited all Tajik businesspeople and companies wishing to participate in the chamber to consult their Embassy in this regard.

At the end of the meeting and based on the results of the voting procedure conducted in the meeting, members of the board of Iran-Tajikistan Chamber of Commerce were selected.
